Astro Update 12 7 20 Tne New Moon Total Solar Eclipse/The Grand Conjunction

The New Moon Total Solar Eclipse occurs on Dec. 14 at 9:17AM/MST. It is visible in Chile and parts of Argentina, SW Africa, the Congo, and moves into SW India.

This Eclipse begins to set the stage for 2021. Since most eclipses play out their energy within 3-6 months, we look into 2021 for its manifestations.

It wants us to see and embrace the larger picture of possibility, to open ourselves to different perspectives and ways of seeing our world and how we want to live in it.

The Grand Conjunction: There are huge conversations right now in the scientific and the astrological communities. Each with their own interpretations. The conjunction is so close as to appear as one bright star.

The coming together of Saturn and Jupiter on Dec.21 at 11:21AM/MST, 8 hours after the Winter Solstice occurs. Saturn and Jupiter come together every 20 years, however for over the last 240 years it has happened in an earth sign. Now it is occurring in an air sign, Aquarius, the Water Bearer.

What the Water Bearer pours from his/her pitcher is knowledge, seeds to populate future dreams, esoteric knowledge of the underlying factors and over-arching energies that are attempting to make their way into the collective consciousness right now.

This conjunction represents a door into the next 20 year period where more radical and revolutionary ideas spark change, where equality is more of a common thought than before, and new scientific and medical creations and interventions become more common place. The whole notion of ‘designer babies’ that was a fear 40 years ago, is a burgeoning reality now.

This Grand Conjunction is an invitation to step out of the old divisive politics and find and create new conversations. Aquarius is radical. Its downside is that it tends to throw the baby out with the bath water.

Let us keep the strides we have made in the last 20 years, and as we step up to this new platform of possibility, let us open our hearts to a new star, and new true north, that has integrity at its core.

“Whenever they rebuild an old building, they must first of all destroy the old one.” Rumi
